problem with `display' from ImageMagick

hi,

after upgrading `ImageMagick' today

the `display' command responds to arbitrary input by displaying it's 
help list and exits afterwards. `display' without argument does the same 
instead of bringing up the "splash screen wizard".

`convert' on the other hand still works.

any ideas?
