Hi,

How about adding a variable $PERL_VERSION to select perl5.8 and
perl5.10 when building a PBI.

And running autopopulate.sh recursively for $OTHERPORT may be
still useful when creating PBI with some perl or python modules,
for example, we can just add databases/DBD-mysql to the $OTHERPORT
and then DBI.pm (databases/DBI) can also be available in the PBI.
