Hi Martin/All,
There has been no patchdiag.xref released since July7th due to the MOS 5.3 release over the weekend.
MOS 5.3 is a major release for ex-Sun customers, as this release integrated a more native experience for Sun patches on MOS.
I realize that this may not be of interest to a lot of folks using PCA, but there are some significant changes as a result of the MOS 5.3 release, including:
- Patch metadata is now available for Sun patches from the MOS patch information page, including patch size, # downloads & checksum info.
- Patch README files for Sun patches are now hosted natively by MOS (so there is no longer any need to punchout to sspatch for patch README's
In order to enable this release, we needed to stop publishing patches (and reports like patchdiag.xref) over the weekend, so while there has been no updated version of patchdiag available, there has also been no additional patches released.
Normal service should resume later today, so there'll be an updated version of patchdiag tomorrow.
Sorry for any confusion.
Best,
-Don

But if you compare the files, you'll see that nothing has changed since Jul/07/11:
$ pca -X . -x
Downloading xref file to /tmp/patchdiag.xref
Trying https://getupdates.oracle.com/ (1/1)
$ head -1 patchdiag.xref
## PATCHDIAG TOOL CROSS-REFERENCE FILE AS OF Jul/07/11 ##
$
Even when there are no new patches, the date in the header usually gets updated.
Don? :)
Martin.
