Re: [Sansevierias] Drummond Pic #4

The plant shown can be any number of plants grown dichotomous like S. rorida, koko, which leaves turn back slighty. ehrenbergia, straight up,  pearsonii, and perhaps a few more.  having a stem as they get older. I will need to update the label.  Norma

Mike please send me a picture of 'Koko'  I have had theis plant for years.  I gave one to the Huntington, and I would swear it's not the same plant.  Mine looks skinny compared.  How do you know that there was no San. collected by Lav in 1970  who did you check with.?  Norma

Mike,
This is 'Mutomo' or what goes under the name Sansevieria sp.  'Lavranos 1970' in the trade (there is no sansevieria collected by Lavranos in 1970); 'Koko' looks very different from the one pictured.

Here is a very attractive Sansevieria labeled as Mutomo. Not everything they have is labeled correctly so I am not sure if the plant has a proper ID. To me it also looks like it can be a Koko. Mike
