David, Your acquaintance has done you, and us, a disservice. This is a virus hoax. Yet one more way that hackers try to disrupt our lives. Alway best to check these kind of things out before sending. I found this note, http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/jdbgmgr.exe.file.hoax.html, on the symantec site with just one quick google search. "This is a hoax that, like the SULFNBK.EXE Warning hoax, tries to persuade you to delete a legitimate Windows file from your computer. Jdbgmgr.exe is the file to which the hoax refers, and it is the Microsoft Debugger Registrar for Java."
