[sci.med.imaging 286] Share Medical Images Online For Free

Heart Imaging Technologies has recently released a 100% free new
website called www.webpax.com which allows anyone to upload and store
their medical images.

When a patient receives an MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Echo, or other medical
scan, the files are stored in a medical image format called DICOM.
These files can be picked up at your doctor's office after the scan
has been completed. It's not always possible to view these images by
themselves without specialized software, however http://www.webpax.com
will convert the files into a web friendly format.

A link or URL to the converted images on www.webpax.com can be put in
other online medical records to complete the patient's record.

You can use www.webpax.com to share your images with other physicians,
researchers or your family members!

It's a great place for expecting parents to upload their baby
ultrasounds to share the excitement with family and friends.

There is also a DICOM to AVI converter, so if you want to include some
of your DICOMs in a powerpoint presentation, you can use webpax.com to
generate the powerpoint friendly file!

Everything on the site is 100% free. Visit http://www.webpax.com
today!
