Urban: Opportunity to contribute to European Union policy on urban development

Dear friends,

It is now clear that renewed funding for GEN-Europe from the European
Commission will be much more likely if we are more active in participating
in the various policy consultation exercises they run.  (We have had funding
from 2001 - to 2004, but missed out in 2005).

One of the current consultations is on: "The European City ­ improving the
quality of your environment".  Is there anyone out there who would feels
able, qualified and willing to contribute to this consultation in the name
of GEN-Europe?  Ideally, the person would be a European, however, it could
be someone of any nationality, provided that they supplied a European
address on the form (we could help with this!).  It is essential, however,
that you say you are replying on behalf of GEN-Europe, so you could even use
our address.
