Hi Lars, I am experiencing the same behaviour. I can access the admin client locally on my server using: ./client.sh -s -ouri=xmldb:exist://localhost:8080/exist/xmlrpc This works fine. However if I try: ./client.sh -s -ouri=xmldb:exist://servername:8080/exist/xmlrpc I get a Connection refused: connect exception in the XmlRpcClient$Worker.execute function. Sebastian, I already have a standalone system running, I can access the Web Admin and webdav interfaces fine; also, I'm running a Tomcat embedded server, no changes, std install, ootb access control. Sorry no answers yet, I'm still investigating, just thought I'd let you know you aren't alone. ;) Cheers, John PS - Server = Solaris 9, client = Windows 2000. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by BEA Weblogic Workshop FREE Java Enterprise J2EE developer tools!
