Abiword (2.6.4 and old version) cannot open rtf generated document.
After replacing "fonttbl;"-->"fonttbl" in generated document is document in
AbiWord opened.

affected code: header.writeControlWord ("fonttbl;");

Similar problem may be with \colortbl element .
